After many weeks, and thousands of votes, Verizon is happy to announce the Grand Prize Winner of this year’s Ultimate Reign Competition — Asia Cook of Albany State University. We’d like to congratulate Miss Cook for reaching her crowning achievement. Her hard work has paid off, as she has won:
- $15,000 to support her community initiative of partnering her school and community with The Red Cross
- $5,000 in scholarship funds
- A Motorola 4G LTE tech pack, including a XYBOARD 10.1 tablet, DROID RAZR smartphone, and a $150 Verizon Wireless gift card

Olivia Turner – Miss Texas Southern University
Verizon also applauds second place winner, Olivia Turner. She’ll be using her $7,000 award and Motorola 4G LTE tech pack in her efforts to bridge the gap between minorities and mathematics by creating apps to help assist students with studying and understanding math.
