Pictures, pictures, pictures… I am constantly snapping them with my smartphone and I know that I am not the only one! With the powerful cameras that are now a part of our phones, it seems everyone is an accomplished amateur photographer. And with the increasing popularity of the smartphone photo app Instagram, we are taking more pictures than ever.p>

But what can we do with all those smartphone photos? How can we get them out of our phones and into our everyday lives? Sure, we can produce traditional prints but then they just sit hidden in drawers or tucked away in dusty albums.

Fortunately, the continued growth of Instagram has been accompanied by the emergence of a number of apps and services that can take those photos and produce something longer-lasting and more fun. Here are just a few of the many options:

1) Blurb Photo Books

For less than $11 you can make a 20 page photo book. Blurb books are great for your own coffee table or to give as gifts to family and friends.

2) Instagram Magnets

For about $15 you can get have the Instagram print app turn them into 2.5 inch x 2.5 inch magnets. These durable magnets can be used as gifts and souvenirs or as business cards or other promotional items.

3) Instacanvas

The Instacanvas app will turn your Instagram pictures into classic canvas prints. You can even create a gallery and sell them! You can also browse people’s prints and buy the ones you like.

4) Instagoodies

Instagoodies is a service that lets you turn your Instagram pictures into stickers. $14 gets you up to 90 stickers. The stickers are 22 mm square and come in an adorable little sticker book. Yes, that is a child of the 80s dream – my own custom sticker book!

So get those Instagram photos out of your phone and into your home!
