HAWAIISURFTEAM.ORG  features Hawaii’s top amateur groms from Hilo to Hanalei. Check out the latest as the Verizon Wireless Hawaii Junior Surf Team travels abroad to spread aloha as ambassadors of the islands. Competing as individuals and in an Olympic-style format, the team’s and goal is to work together in hopes of the securing the gold medal for Hawai‘i.

The Powder Awards were born as the first show of its kind to acknowledge the artistry and athleticism in ski film and photography. A year later the first-ever Reader Poll was added to recognize the seasonal feats of skiing heroes. The awards continue to recognize those who continue to progress the sport and change the perception of skiing.
