Freestyle skier Tom Wallisch, gold medalist at the 2012 Winter X Games in Aspen, is trading his skis for walking shoes to help stamp out Multiple Sclerosis at the MS Walk in Salt Lake City. The walk is Saturday, April 28, at The Gateway Shopping Center – Grand Hall. Check-in starts at 8 a.m., with the walk at 10 a.m. Walk with Team Wallisch, make a donation, or become a “virtual walker” by raising funds online. Funds raised will be used to help to find a cure for multiple sclerosis, an unpredictable disease that attacks the nervous system and commonly strikes patients between the ages of 20 and 50.
