Four fearless big wave surfers were nominated to the “Verizon Wipeout” category of the 2012 Billabong XXL Big Awards for their mind-blowing wipeouts caught on video in late 2011. The winner will be announced at the Billabong XXL Big Awards Show on Friday, May 4, in Anaheim, Calif.
